Two Twin Babies Fighting For Space In Their Mother’s Womb

Twins can sometimes get super-active in the wombs. Fighting, punching, pushing with our siblings is a habit we are grown with. But it is evident that we begin this even before we are born.

This remarkable images show two twins apparently kicking each other in their mother’s womb. The smaller twin can be seen struggling for space; pushing with his legs and pushing his sibling. On the other hand, the bigger twin is shown defending his own space though he looks comfortable. The little twin baby looks more active and persistent in creating more space for himself because he feels uncomfortable in his little tiny space.

This Magnetic Resonance Image scans these images as a part of a project for monitoring a rare condition called Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome(TTTS) in which twins may develop severe health conditions such as heart failure, blood pressure and kidney failure.
